In just six years of being in business, Zeeto has repeatedly been nationally recognized as a top place to work and for its exceptional company culture. Now, we’re excited to announce that Inc. Magazine has added us to their Best Workplaces 2017 list.
But what makes a company a great place to work? What do employees say makes their workplace excel at balancing employee happiness and productivity? Inc. teamed up with Quantum Workplace, a software company that specializes in employee feedback to survey more than 165,000 employees with companies throughout the U.S. Companies were assessed according to their employee-engagement and people practices.
According to Greg Harris, President & CEO of Quantum Workplace, employee engagement is a measure of the behavioral and emotional connections workers have with their companies. Each participating company administered an employee survey on issues like career development, communication, trust in leadership, team dynamics, and individual needs.
Findings from the study showed that honored companies had a set of baseline employee benefits such as health insurance, dental insurance, and retirement plans. From day one, new employees have access to these benefits without any strings attached. The study also highlighted the increase in popularity of non-traditional benefits that are designed to encourage retention. Longer maternity leave, paternity leave, innovative health and wellness initiatives, unlimited PTO and flexible scheduling are the new benchmarks for distinguishing the good companies from the great companies.
Zeeto is proud to be one of a small group of companies included on such a distinguished list. Zeeto attributes its successful culture to always maintaining clear lines of communication and promoting complete transparency among the entire team. Whether it’s the executive team communicating a strategy, update or a change in organizational structure, employees are always kept in the loop.
More than 1,600 companies applied for this year’s award and only 233 made the cut.
