For the third straight year, The San Diego Union-Tribune has selected Zeeto as a top workplace in San Diego County. The honor is accompanied by a special designation, naming Zeeto first in communication practices among all other companies. The distinction marks an impressive streak seeing Zeeto place as a top 3 company in the county for the last three-years-in-a-row.
The survey was conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, a Philadelphia-based employee research and consulting firm. To find possible survey participants, the San Diego Union-Tribune relied upon print and online advertising to seek nominations from workers, bosses and others.
“We pride ourselves on being completely up-front and transparent with all our employees,” said Zeeto CEO, Stephan Goss. “Nobody is ever left in the dark, wondering where the company is headed. That helps enormously as it relates to the communication process.”
Over one thousand companies were invited to participate. Of those, 69 companies completed the survey, allowing WorkplaceDynamics to rank them, divided into three categories: small, midsize and large.
Nominations were open to the public with the requirement that the organization must employ at least 50 in the San Diego region. Rankings were based primarily on employee survey responses. Employees were asked to rank: alignment, effectiveness, connection, leadership and engagement.
Not only does Zeeto boast a top-tier culture, but some of the finest perks a company can offer. For instance, Zeeto recently purchased a restaurant just for its employees. Now, Zeeto employees have a place to congregate and share a meal made fresh by their two office chefs that provide daily breakfast and lunch.
