Front-end Developer (Mid to Sr.) Remote

Job Description

*Zeeto is pioneering the next generation of traffic monetization technology with the Zeeto Ad Network. The growing Zeeto company offers clients solutions that take large streams of visitor traffic and up-value each user via a one-to-one optimized funnel that asks smart questions and reveals valuable targeting data. Zeeto is seeking a highly creative and experienced Front-end Developer with a strong UX/UI design focus and a passion for crafting exceptional user experiences. 

 

*In this role, you will focus on front-end development for features in a multi-service SaaS web application.  You will collaborate closely with talented front-end, and back-end developers and product team to create scalable, efficient solutions that enhance the overall user experience. You will leverage existing design patterns and UX/UI best practices while identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation, ensuring our web pages are both visually compelling and optimized for performance and conversion.

 

 

*Location – Mexico City, Guadalajara, Southern Baja or anywhere international but in a similar time zone.  You will be working remotely with a US based company who also has employees in Mexico. We are also open to areas such as Ukraine, Poland and Romania but again you would have to collaborate with the pacific time zone for your schedule.

Responsibilities

*Develop and maintain front-end applications within a microservices architecture, ensuring performance, scalability, best practices, and high-quality user experiences.

*Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React.js, Redux, Express.js, Node.js, jQuery, and Bootstrap.

*Implement and maintain responsive, pixel-perfect designs that adhere to UX/UI best practices, including Sass/Less, SVGs, and CSS/JavaScript animations.

*Collaborate closely with Product, Front-end & Back-end Developer teams to deliver visually appealing, seamless user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.

*Ensure consistent, high-quality implementation of UI design patterns, with a strong focus on alignment, spacing, color, and other fundamental design principles.

*Optimize applications for cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, addressing visual and functional challenges.

*Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and trends, continuously improving development practices and processes.

*Proactively identify opportunities for improving front-end performance and design, contributing innovative ideas and solutions.

*Use TDD (Test-Driven Development) and best practices to write robust, testable front-end code.

*Leverage Git version control in a collaborative team environment, working with multiple contributors on shared codebases.

*Integrate and work effectively with REST APIs, ensuring seamless communication between front-end applications and back-end services.

Qualifications

*Proficient with modern HTML and CSS coding standards.

*Experience with Bootstrap for responsive design and modern JS frameworks like React, and Node.

*Applicants must be able to code and have the knowledge to adhere to best practices and cross-browser/device usability.

*A portfolio showcasing a blend of design creativity and technical expertise.

*Experience as a senior or lead engineer on a large, UX-rich application is a plus.

*Step 2 – After review from the hiring team if you meet the qualifications for this role we will ask you to complete a video-recorded interview through a platform called MyInterview.  This will be emailed and you will be asked approximately 10 brief questions to gauge your basic skill set, personality, and communication.  

*Step 3 – Of those who still seem like a great fit after Step 2 you will meet the team in a Zoom interview.

*Step 4 – We will ask any candidates who crush step 3 to complete and present a project demonstrating their skills.  We need to be able to gauge your skillset as well as talk through it with you to see if you’d be a good fit.
